The primary truth believers must know and guard is the Gospel. The Gospel is not only something we are to believe, but is also something we are to center our lives upon. Within this book, Mahaney reminds the believer why this is so, by teaching how the Gospel graciously rescues one from legalism and condemnation because of Christ’s finished work on the cross. He also gives practical ways to center every day upon the cross.
