Growth Essentials
Growth Essentials, our youth and adult education hour, help us to comprehend the subtle intricacies and overarching truths of our God and the theology, ministry, and history He has authored. Meeting every Wednesday Evening at 7pm in the Worship Center for the teaching/Sermon portion and Sunday mornings at 9:00am for the workbook portion of the class which will meet in the Fellowship Hall for adults and in the Jr. High room for the youth for one hour. Our current Growth Essentials class “Fundamentals” began Wednesday September 14, 2012 and are open to all, Members and Nonmembers alike Also, Lord willing, in February 2012 we will begin several other classes as well, including the following…
- The Basics classes ground us in the foundational disciplines of the Christian life.
- The Bible Overview classes seek to improve our understanding of Scripture.
- The History and Theology classes expose us to the history and doctrine both of our church and of Christianity throughout the ages.
- The Christian Life classes apply God’s wisdom to our relationships.
- The Christian Growth classes train us in how to engage the world with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Styled as lectures, the teachers seek to communicate truth in the Growth Essentials classes while encouraging more interaction with the material in outside conversations. Ideally, attendees of our Growth Essentials classes begin with the Basics track and follow the rest through to the end, acquiring a comprehensive Christian education in a few years’ time.
